Questions about water filtration in Singapore

Singapore tap water is safe. Why filter it?

PUB water is safe to drink straight from the tap. People filter for convenience and taste: hot and cold water on demand instead of boiling, less chlorine taste and smell, and no bottled water to carry home.

How is Hot & Cold Built-in different from a countertop purifier?

It works the same way, but the unit sits under your sink and only a slim tap shows on your counter. It's tankless, so water is heated or chilled as it flows and there's no tank to clean.

What does it cost to run?

Filters for Hot & Cold are S$190 a year, and the prices are on this page. You can change them yourself in a few minutes or book a visit for S$60. There's no contract or subscription.

Will it fit under my HDB kitchen sink?

It fits most HDB and condo sink cabinets. It needs a power point under or near the sink. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll confirm before you commit.

Who installs it?

Our installation partner's PUB Licensed Plumbers. They fit the unit, connect the tap, hide the piping and test everything for leaks before they leave.

When are you launching, and do I pay now?

We start installing in early 2027. Reserving locks in the founder price and costs nothing. You pay only on the day we install, and you can cancel your reservation any time.

Do I need a water softener?

Almost never. PUB reports Singapore water as moderately soft. Every Hot & Cold unit includes an anti-scale cartridge to protect the heater. For landed homes with white marks on glass and taps, we can add a scale conditioner after a site check.

What warranty do I get?

2 years on the system and the installation. If anything leaks or stops working, a technician comes within 48 hours. We keep spare parts for every model for at least 5 years.
